#25 „Burg-Café“

Originally, today’s Burg-Cafe was a stable. This can still be seen in old recordings. In addition, the large masonry quarry stone arch indicates this.
In later years this building was converted into a residential building. Several families had their home in it. Together with two neighboring houses, this building shared a courtyard at the rear.
A few years ago, a young entrepreneur from the city began to renovate and expand the house. The ground floor, cellar and terrace now serve as a cafe and ice cream parlor and are well received by the population and guests.
The old walls made of natural stones fit very well into our old town.
In addition, the Burg-Cafe is an enrichment of the gastronomic and tourist offer in Oebisfelde.
